Parish Council Elections
The election of a new Parish Council for Orton Waterville will take place early in May. In addition to the Village area, the parish of Orton Waterville includes Orton Brimbles, Orton Wistow, Orton Southgate, Orton Northgate and the west part of Orton Goldhay (north of Goldhay Way). None of the current parish councillors live in Goldhay, Northgate or Southgate.
If you would like the concerns of the area you live in well represented on the Parish Council, why not consider being a candidate in the forthcoming election. You do NOT have to be sponsored by a political party. You simply need two electors in the Parish Ward for which you are standing to sign your nomination paper. Nomination papers can be obtained from the Town Hall in early March. Closing date for nominations will be on 4 April. Further details can be obtained from Electoral Services on 01733 452271.
